The Riverside Project is being built in Harar on a 2.6 hectare area and started in December 2025. The project focuses on improving the environment and the city by supporting ecological restoration, flood control, and green areas. It will include public recreation spaces, social areas, and places that support tourism and the local economy. The project also aims to improve connectivity and accessibility, support urban agriculture, help with micro-climate control, and create job opportunities for the community.
